  6. I%1/2, lb, carrots, sliced
  7. I%1, lb, potatoes, quartered
  8. I%1, oz, onion soup mix
  9. I%2 1/2, c, water, boiling

  12. R%     Joint the rabbit and wash well.  Blanch the rabbit by putting
  13. R%it into a large saucepan, covering it with water, and bringing it
  14. R%to a boil.
  15. R%     Remove the rabbit from the saucepan and place it into a 4
  16. R%quart baking dish.
  17. R%     Put the raw carrots and potatoes in with the rabbit.
  18. R%     Mix the soup mix with the 2 1/2 cups of boiling water and
  19. R%pour over the rabbit and vegetables.
  20. R%     Cook covered in a 350 degree oven for 2 hours.
